The ceremony also included an all-star tribute to 40 years of Tony Award-winning plays, from Cyrano de Bergerac (1947) to Biloxi Bllues (1985). Distinguished actors and actresses of the past and present, including many of the original performers, spoke each play's most memorable lines.
