
More Presenters Announced!
More celebrity presenters who will appear on the American Theatre Wing's 2005 Tony Awards® telecast has been announced.
The expanded list now includes Alan Alda, Joan Allen, Christina Applegate, Angela Bassett, Matthew Broderick, Mario Cantone, Don Cheadle, Marcia Cross, Jon Cryer, Laurence Fishburne, Jeff Goldblum, Ann Hathaway, Dennis Haysbert, Ethan Hawke, Allison Janney, James Earl Jones, Nathan Lane, Laura Linney, Jesse Martin, Idina Menzel, Esai Morales, Megan Mullally, Bernadette Peters, David Hyde Pierce, Sandra Oh, Doris Roberts, Emmy Rossum, Keri Russell, Liev Schreiber, Tony Shaloub, Julia Stiles, Kathleen Turner, and Leslie Uggams.
Others will be announced soon.
Hosted by Hugh Jackman, the 2005 Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, June 5th, from 8:00 - 11:00 PM (ET/PT time delay). The Tonys are presented by the League of American Theatres and Producers and the American Theatre Wing.
TonyAwards.com's live coverage of the festivities on Tony night will begin at 6:15 p.m. ET with live video coverage of the stars' arrival on the Red Carpet. The TonyAwards.com live webcast of the pre-telecast portion of the 2005 Tony ceremony will begin at approximately 7:00 p.m. (check back for exact time). This webcast will include the first several awards. It is a TonyAwards.com exclusive--you will not be able to see this anywhere else.
Red Carpet coverage continues at 7:00 p.m. ET/delayed PT with "TV Guide LIVE at the Tony Awards Presented by Saab" on the TV Guide Channel (check your local cable listings).
During and after the telecast, we'll be posting video interviews with presenters and winners, direct from backstage at the awards.
