The 2008 Broadway Season: Who’s Eligible for Tonys?

With the 2007-2008 Broadway season about to become history, theatre lovers are making up lists of who they think might receive nominations for the American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards® this year.

We decided to give you a helping hand. On this page you will find a comprehensive guide to the shows and performers who may be eligible for Tony nominations this spring. Look it over, and make your predictions. Then, to find out who actually gets selected, come back on the morning of Tuesday, May 13. The nominations will be announced beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET, and we’ll post them as soon as they are official. Or, sign up to have the list e-mailed right to your computer.

The list below is a chronological guide to the new productions that opened on Broadway this season. Each show appears in order by opening night. We list all potential Lead Actor/Actress nominees; other performers may be eligible in the Featured Actor/Actress categories. Other production elements (e.g. costume design, direction, score) are eligible to be nominated unless specifically noted.

One important note: This page is for reference purposes only. All determinations regarding eligibility are made exclusively by the Tony Award Administration Committee, in accordance with the Tony Award Rules and Regulations.
