For the first time ever, The Tony Awards are making a selection of tickets to the 63rd Annual Tony Awards telecast available for students in the New York metro area, through a Student Rush Lottery drawing. Here's how it works: - A limited number of Student Rush tickets at $40 each -- CASH ONLY -- will be distributed by lottery on Thursday, June 4 at The Broadway Concierge & Ticket Center in Times Square.
- At 11:00 a.m. on June 4, names of the first 200 students who present valid ID at The Broadway Concierge & Ticket Center will be entered into the lottery.
- At 3:00 p.m., 2009 Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis of Rock of Ages and fellow cast-member James Carpinello will draw names.
- You must be present in-person at the drawing to receive your tickets. Each valid student ID is good for up to a pair of tickets.
- Recipients of the tickets must be available to attend the Tony Awards telecast at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7th from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. Black-tie attire is required at the telecast.
- Tickets are not transferrable.
