From the slums of London to the heights of Hollywood, Chaplin reveals the man behind the legend of Charlie Chaplin, the undeniable genius that forever changed the way America went to the movies. Robert McClure starred as the greatest silent-film performer and creator of all time, in a show that spans nearly 80 years in the life of its legendary title character.

  • A US national tour of Chaplin is expected to launch in the fall of 2014, with plans for an international world tour to follow. A Brazilian production has already been announced.

HISTORY

Chaplin came to Broadway following a 2010 tryout at the La Jolla Playhouse in California under the title Limelight. The show originally ran at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2006.
