Welcome to the infamous Kit Kat Klub where Alan Cumming reprises his Tony Award-winning performance as the Emcee in Cabaret. Three-time Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams also stars, making her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles in John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joe Masteroff’s musical about following your heart while the world loses its way. A raucous ensemble takes the stage nightly to tantalize the crowd––and to leave their troubles outside. But as life in pre-WWII Germany grows more and more uncertain, will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through their dangerous times?
Cabaret premiered on Broadway in 1966 and won 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical. The 1972 feature film version won 8 Academy Awards. The musical was first revived on Broadway in 1987. Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Cabaret, based on a 1993 London staging, first opened on Broadway on March 19, 1998 starring Alan Cumming and Natasha Richardson and won four Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical. The current revival recreates that production.
