During mid-May, cast members from all four 2014 Tony Awards-nominated Best Musicals (After Midnight, Aladdin, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder) will appear at Bloomingdale’s flagship store, located at 1000 3rd Avenue in New York City. The shows will offer performances, ticket giveaways, photo opportunities and CD signings.

The schedule is as follows:

  • May 13, 5:00 p.m. – A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder performance
  • May 15, 5:00 p.m. – Special Q & A with Aladdin’s "Iago," Don Darryl Rivera
  • May 20, 5:00 p.m. – Beautiful – The Carole King Musical performance
  • May 22, 5:00 p.m. – After Midnight performance

Another window honors costume designer Jane Greenwood, this year’s recipient of the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, displaying designs from throughout her career. These include costumes worn by Anne Hathaway in Twelfth Night, Mary-Louise Parker in The Snow Geese and Lily Rabe in As You Like It.

In addition, costumes designed by Tony Award-winner Gregg Barnes from recent productions of The Drowsy Chaperone, Follies and Side Show will be featured on the third floor of Bloomingdale’s from May 14 through June 8.

“It is a rare and wonderful opportunity to get to see costumes from your favorite shows up close and personal, and we are excited to offer that experience to Broadway fans at Bloomingdale’s,” say Heather Hitchens, executive director of the American Theatre Wing, and Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of The Broadway League.
