  • This is playwright Donald Margulies’s tenth production with Manhattan Theatre Club.
  • The setting recalls the real-life Williamstown Theatre Festival in the Berkshires, a Massachusetts theatre where Margulies, Danner, and others in the creative team have worked extensively.

HISTORY

The Country House received a world premiere co-production by Geffen Playhouse and Manhattan Theatre Club at Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles in June, 2014.
