When their patriarch vanishes, the Weston clan must return to their three-story home in rural Oklahoma to get to the heart of the matter. Author Tracy Letts depicts members of a contemporary Midwestern clan struggling with medication abuse, drug usage, suicide, and incest while trying to get through a family tragedy.

This is Letts's first Tony nomination and his Broadway debut. His other plays include Killer Joe, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize; and Bug. He is a Steppenwolf ensemble member and was recently named an artistic associate there.
