The Story
Martin McDonagh's new comedy-drama depicts the fortunes of a fiction writer (Billy Crudup) in a totalitarian state who is interrogated by two police detectives (Jeff Goldblum and Zeljko Ivanek). They grill him about the gruesome content of his short stories, and their similarity to a number of bizarre incidents that have occurred in his town.

The Pillowman had its world premiere on November 13, 2003 at London’s Royal National Theatre.
