Michael Moore came to Broadway to take audiences on a ride through the United States of Insanity, explaining once and for all how the **** we got here, and where best to dine before crossing over the mountains with the Von Trapp family into Canada.

  • Michael Moore won an Oscar in 2003 for his documentary Bowling for Columbine.
  • The production featured special on-stage appearances by special guests including artists, activists, political figures, and others. Among them were Whoopi Goldberg, Gloria Steinem, Billie Joe Armstrong, Lee Daniels, and U.S. Representative Maxine Waters.


This was a world premiere production, and marked Michael Moore’s Broadway debut.
