The Tony Awards have announced the calendar of official events for the 2025-2026 Tony Awards season. The American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards will return to the legendary Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7, 2026. The 79th Annual Tony Awards® will broadcast LIVE to both coasts on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+* (8:00 – 11:00 PM ET/5:00 – 8:00 PM PT).

Sunday, April 26, 2026

The Tony Awards eligibility cut-off date for the 2025-2026 season is Sunday, April 26, 2026 for all Broadway productions which meet all other eligibility requirements. 

Tuesday, May 5, 2026

Nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards will be announced on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. 

Thursday, May 14, 2026

Meet the Nominees Press Event will take place at Sofitel New York on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Monday, May 18, 2026

New York Magazine will host its first-ever Tony Awards Nominee Cocktail Party on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Pebble Bar. The evening will honor this year’s nominees and gather Broadway talent, producers, and cultural notables for a pre-ceremony celebration. The event coincides with the release of New York Magazine’s annual Broadway Issue.

Thursday, May 28, 2026

The exclusive Tony Nominee Luncheon presented by Cunard at the Rainbow Room is a chance for the nominees to receive their certificates and celebrate alongside the 2026 Tony Honor recipients. This invite-only event on Thursday, May 28, 2026 is closed to the media.

Sunday, June 7, 2026

The American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards will return to the legendary Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7, 2026. The 79th Annual Tony Awards® will broadcast LIVE to both coasts on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+* (8:00 – 11:00 PM ET/5:00 – 8:00 PM PT).

The Tony Awards are produced in collaboration with Tony Award Productions, a joint venture of the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League.  Raj Kapoor, Sarah Levine Hall, and Jack Sussman will produce this year’s show. Kapoor and Levine Hall will also serve as Co-Showrunners.

The ceremony will be followed by the official Tony Awards After Party.
