Players Can Enter for the Chance to Win Free Broadway Tickets for One Year

New York, NY (April 16, 2019) – The Tony Awards, in partnership with Audience Rewards®, Broadway’s first and only loyalty program for patrons of the performing arts, has announced the 2019 Tony Awards Challenge. Beginning on Tuesday, April 30th - the day of the Tony Nominations announcement, theatre fans across the country can participate in an interactive game, ballot-style, in which they will predict the winners of each of the 26 Tony Awards categories. Fans will have a chance to win a number of prizes, including free Broadway tickets for a year. Players can log in to an existing Audience Rewards account, or create a new account for free, in order to enter. The 73rd Annual Tony Awards, hosted by James Corden, will air live on CBS, on Sunday, June 9th and are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

“The Tony Awards Challenge is Broadway’s answer to March Madness,” Katie Dalton, Audience Rewards Senior Vice President, said. “Filling out brackets and guessing who will win the big prizes is so fun and makes you feel like you are part of the action – whether you’re in the industry, an avid theatre goer, or a casual fan. Even if you haven’t seen the nominated shows yet, the interactive game will allow you to play along and win big.”

“We are thrilled to once again partner with Audience Rewards,” said Heather Hitchens, President of the American Theatre Wing and Charlotte St. Martin, President of The Broadway League. “What a fun way for theatre fans across the country to participate in the excitement of the Tony Awards!”
